Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that three landfill sites have been prepared for the disposal of waste, 100,000 tons of waste will be collected in five days.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab said in a conversation with the media after the Eid prayer that the holidays of the solid waste staff have been canceled due to the Eid, 110 collection points have been set up in 25 towns of the city.
He gave a message to the opponents to stop mischief.
He further informed about the arrangements for garbage collection during the days of Eid and said that we have considered the day of Eid as our challenge, the holidays of all employees have been canceled, we are present on the streets of Karachi from tomorrow
He requested the citizens not to block the drains, to have pity on this city.
He said that Hafiz is the opposition leader, I respect him, we invited Jamaat-e-Islami and he came, this is a good tradition.
Murtaza Wahab said that calling yourself public does not make anyone public, I believe in working quietly.
He said that the people will decide who gave a press conference and who served, Hafiz Naeem is an opposition leader who can never be satisfied with the government, there is a need to promote good traditions to avoid blaming.
Regarding the water problem in the city, he said that 50% of the water requirement in Karachi is supplied, the water distribution in Karachi is done by the federal government.
