For the first time, FBR has collected 7 thousand billion rupees as tax

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected 7 thousand billion rupees in revenue for the first time in the country’s history.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on the social media website Twitter that FBR has collected Rs 7,000 billion in revenue till June 26 and tax collections will increase further till June 30.

On the other hand, while addressing the ceremony of introducing Shariah-compliant products under the National Savings Scheme, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that 4 Islamic Savings Schemes will be introduced from July 1.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that steps are being taken to make Pakistan’s economic system free from interest, launching 4 new products of National Savings from July 1, it was said in the budget that new products will be launched by June 30.
