Menlopark: With billions of users and phenomenal popularity of WhatsApp, businesses and companies have now adopted it. Now WhatsApp has taken strict measures to stop spam calls.

A few months ago, WhatsApp introduced a new way to ignore spam calls. It was being tested in internal circles and will soon be rolled out to general users. It is now being touted as the ‘New Privacy Checkup Tool’.

By following this option, WhatsApp will automatically mute calls from unknown numbers, but the number will remain there if you want to contact them later. There has been a storm of spam calls on WhatsApp in the US and UK and now we are seeing a flood of spam messages at least in Pakistan.

This option will not only get rid of unnecessary calls but also make your account more secure. Now this option is available in WhatsApp account settings.
