Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hamad Azhar has said that the first cargo of cheap oil from Russia was to be received in April last year.
In his statement on Twitter, Hamad Azhar said that the PDM government has been procrastinating on the issue of Russian oil for 14 months, after 14 months, no special discount was received and the quantity was also purchased less.
Hammad Azhar said that billions of dollars would have been benefited if the talks with the PTI government had been implemented.
It should be noted that the first Russian crude oil carrier arrived at Karachi port yesterday, after which the work of extracting crude oil from Pure Point was started.
According to Pakistan Refinery sources, 3000 tons of oil will be transferred from the ship to Pakistan Refinery, the transfer of Russian crude oil from Pure Point will be completed tomorrow.
