Decision to send back the army stationed in Islamabad

The Islamabad administration has decided to end the deployment of the army in the city.

The Chief Commissioner’s Office has sent a letter to the Ministry of Interior to end the deployment of the army in Islamabad. In which it was decided that the notification of May 10 should be withdrawn in public interest.

According to the post, the army was deployed to maintain law and order in Islamabad, but the administration has declared the law and order situation in Islamabad satisfactory.

It should be noted that the army was called before the violent incidents in Islamabad, Article 245 was applied in Islamabad on May 10.
