In Gujranwala, fire broke out in the oil tankers parked in the oil warehouse, five people got burnt and injured.
The incident of fire took place in an oil warehouse located near Sialkot bypass where a standing oil tanker caught fire.
The oil tanker fire soon engulfed two more oil containers and a nearby plastic factory.
Due to the fire, five people who were working in the warehouse were burnt and injured, who were shifted to the hospital in critical condition by the rescue personnel, however, as there was no burn center in the hospital, all the injured were referred to Lahore General Hospital.
On the other hand, rescue personnel brought the fire under control after 3 hours of fire fighting operation.
10 rescue vehicles participated in the operation, the police have started investigating the incident.
It should be noted that in the incident petrol worth lakhs of rupees and plastic grains in a nearby factory were burnt to ashes.
