Riyadh: Authorities in Saudi Arabia have said regarding car parking that the first 20 minutes of prepaid parking are free, no fee will be applied.
According to Urdu News, the Ministry of Local Government, Rural and Settlement Affairs in Saudi Arabia said that the first 20 minutes of prepaid parking are free, no fee will be applied to it.
The Ministry has issued regulations for prepaid parking.
According to the regulations, there will be 3 types of car parking, parking of business establishments, parking of government institutions, departments and ministries.
Other types of parking include vacant plot parking, multi-storey car parking or multi-storey parking set up in open plots on commercial thoroughfares.
The third type is computerized parking, it is the parking built on the premises of government institutions, commercial plots where all the work of parking, loading and unloading of vehicles is done under the mechanical system.
