Karachi: A Qatar Airways plane made an emergency landing in Karachi due to the birth of a child during the flight.
According to the spokesperson of Civil Aviation, the flight from Doha to Manila made a medical emergency landing at Karachi Airport. Qatar Airways flight 934 landed at Jinnah International late at night. The flight was landed on medical grounds due to the discomfort of the pregnant woman in the flight.
The woman was given the necessary first aid on the plane itself while the doctors were already there including the ambulance on landing, but the flight had already taken place during the birth of the child. The woman Jorabal Hermosela is from the Philippines. The mother and child have been shifted to a private hospital for further care.
