Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid Astor accident Aid to the victims has been announced.
Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid visited the DHQ Hospital where he visited the injured persons in the Shoontar Pass accident.
Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan directed the hospital administration to provide the best facilities to the injured.
On this occasion, he also announced aid for the victims of the accident.
It should be noted that the search and rescue operation was completed after the avalanche in Astur, 8 people died and 16 were injured in the incident. The deceased included 4 women and 4 men.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid reviewed the development plan at Goricourt.
On this occasion, he said that the work on Astor Valley Road is going on rapidly with 19 billion 27 crore rupees, the construction of Astor Valley Road will promote tourism.
Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid said that the completion of Astoor Valley Road will facilitate land connectivity between Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
