Islamabad: Accountability Court has stopped NAB from arresting Bushra Bibi in the 190 million pound case by granting interim bail.
In the 190 million pound case, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Khawaja Haris appeared before Islamabad Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer and filed an application for Bushra Bibi’s interim bail.
Later, Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan reached the accountability court under tight security, where Bushra Bibi was summoned. Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Accountability Court approved Bushra Bibi’s interim bail application and directed her to deposit a bond of five lakh rupees.
During the hearing, lawyer Khawaja Haris said that Bushra Bibi did not receive any notice. The court approved the bail application and stopped NAB from arresting Bushra Bibi. The court accepted the bail application till May 31 and issued a notice to NAB and sought its reply till May 31.
Later, Judge Muhammad Basheer of Accountability Court Islamabad issued a written order granting interim bail to Bushra Bibi, according to which the accountability court stopped NAB from arresting her until May 31 and released Bushra Bibi on a bail of Rs 500,000. Ordered to submit Machalke. The court ordered Bushra Bibi to be included in the investigation and issued a notice to summon the NAB investigation officer along with the record for the next hearing.
After the verdict, Bushra Bibi, wife of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, submitted an affidavit in the accountability court, stating that the case against me is fake.
It should be noted that Bushra Bibi’s protective bail from the Lahore High Court was ending today, upon which the legal team decided to file an interim bail application in the Islamabad High Court and later in the Accountability Court. Imran Khan is already out on bail till May 31 in the £190 million case.
