People’s Party Karachi President and Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani has admitted that he is 20 points less than Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI alliance in the number game of Mayor Karachi.
In a statement, Saeed Ghani said that in the number game required for the mayor of Karachi, the number of Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI alliance is 193, while the People’s Party has 173.
He further said that despite this, the majority of PTI’s 43 UC chairman is in favor of bringing a PPP mayor against the party policy.
The provincial minister also claimed that a large number of UC chairmen of PTI are not in favor of voting for Hafiz Naeemur Rehman as the mayor of Karachi.
Saeed Ghani asked that what happened that if Hafiz Naeemur Rehman became the mayor of Karachi, it was fine, but if the candidate of People’s Party won, the city was captured?
He said that Altaf Hussain’s stomach also felt the pain of supporting Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, perhaps the founder of MQM thinks that Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has more potential to become the new Altaf Hussain.
