Barrister Taimur Malik, the lawyer of Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi, has said that the Adiala Jail authorities refused to allow the family members of my client to meet.
In a statement, Barrister Taimur Malik said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s family is not being allowed to meet him.
Lawyer Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PTI Vice Chairman’s daughter returned without meeting her father after waiting for hours.
He said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi has refused to sign such a declaration, which affects his political rights.
Barrister Taimur Malik further said that there are reports that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is being transferred to Attock Jail today.
He said that transferring my client to another jail would be a violation of court orders.
