Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the mayor will be from Jamaat-e-Islami and the deputy mayor will be from Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
In a statement, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the People’s Party made constituencies of their own choice, PP changed the election results.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman says that Jamaat-e-Islami will not cry for powers, if the powers are not easily available, they will take them away.
He said that the powers under the constitution will have to be given to the local bodies.
It should be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to support Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman for the mayor of Karachi.
In this regard, the spokesperson of PTI said that PTI will support the candidate of Jamaat-e-Islami in the mayoral election.
