A social media activist of PTI was arrested from Bahawalpur district of Punjab.
According to the Bahawalpur police, PTI’s social media activist has been arrested under 3MPO.
The Bahawalpur Police has also informed that the arrested PTI worker was sent to the Central Jail for 30 days.
On the other hand, the number of arrested elements involved in vandalism and arson in public and private institutions across Punjab has reached 3 thousand 190.
After the arrest of Imran Khan, these elements are involved in burning property and vehicles and injuring more than 150 police officers and personnel.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, miscreants have seriously injured 162 police officers and personnel across Punjab, vandalized 94 vehicles used by Punjab Police and set them on fire.
27 vehicles of Lahore Police, 21 of Faisalabad Police, 19 of Rawalpindi Police, 9 of Mianwali Police, 5 of Sialkot Police, 4 of Multan Police and 3 of Gujranwala Police were targeted by the miscreants.
22 government buildings including police stations and offices were also severely damaged.
