Domestic foreign exchange reserves fell to a ten-year low

Islamabad: Foreign exchange reserves fell by $590 million to a 10-year low of $3.8 billion due to external debt repayments.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the domestic foreign exchange reserves have further decreased by 592 million dollars, after which the foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan fell to the lowest level of 3 billion 862 million dollars.

The value of the total reserves of the country is currently 8 billion 741.7 million dollars, commercial banks have 5 billion 65 million 55 million dollars, the central bank last week made huge payments of 592 million dollars in the form of foreign loans. .
