Karachi: The employees of Civil Aviation Authority showed duty and found and returned the lost luggage worth 15 lakh rupees of a woman coming to Pakistan from an international flight.
According to the spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authority, the staff assigned to Islamabad International Airport found and returned the missing luggage of the female passenger. The woman had lodged a complaint of forgotten/lost handbag in parking lot no.12.
The missing luggage included gold set (06 tola), 1100 British pounds etc. The said passenger had reached Islamabad by Etihad Airways flight from Manchester. The said goods were kept in a bag.
The complaint cell detected the passenger who picked up the bag from the parking lot through the CCTV footage.
On being contacted by the Civil Aviation Vigilance Staff, the passenger delivered the items worth around Rs 15 lakh to the airport. Baggage was returned to the female passenger at the airport in the presence of her husband.
While receiving the luggage, the husband thanked the airport management and appreciated their efforts.
