The Punjab Government has requested the services of the Pakistan Army and the Federal Ministry of Interior has given its approval in this regard.
According to the Home Department, the services of ten companies have been handed over to the Punjab government, the Pakistan Army will work together with the district administration to establish law and order.
The Federal Ministry of Interior has also issued a notification for the deployment of the army in Punjab.
It should be noted that the federal government approved the deployment of the army on the request of the Punjab Interior Department.
