Lahore High Court: Imran Khan's request to stop proceedings in 121 cases is scheduled for hearing

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s request to stop proceedings in 121 cases has been fixed for hearing by the Lahore High Court.

According to Express News, on the petition filed by Imran Khan, a five-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi will hear the petitions on May 8.

The registrar office of Lahore High Court has released the cause list of the hearing on the petitions of Imran Khan. Other members of the corresponding bench include Justice Miss Alia Neelam, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh, Justice Anwarul Haque Pannu and Justice Amjad Rafiq.

It should be noted that the five-member bench has ordered an investigation involving Imran Khan, while the court has called for a report on the investigation of the cases on May 8.

Imran Khan had filed an application in the High Court to stop the proceedings in the listed cases.
