1,400 security workers at UK’s Heathrow Airport went on a three-day strike demanding a pay rise.
According to the news agency from London, about 1400 security workers at Heathrow Airport went on a three-day strike after their demand for salary increase was not accepted.
Heathrow Airport last month offered security staff a 10 per cent pay rise and a lump sum payment of around $1,500.
On the other hand, more walkouts of security workers are already scheduled for the end of this month. The first of which will be held from 9 to 10 May and the second from 25 to 27 May.
