In Azad Kashmir’s Neelum valley, a jeep full of tourists fell into the Neelum river, 3 people were killed and 4 injured in the accident.
According to Deputy Commissioner Neelum Sardar Tahir Mehmood, 13 people were riding in the jeep that fell into the river, the rescue operation of Pakistan Army and police personnel is going on to find the remaining 6 people.
The passenger jeep carrying 11 tourists from Taubit, a tourist spot in the Neelum valley, fell into the Neelum river while taking a turn at Phalawi.
The dead bodies of 2 persons and 5 injured persons were removed from the river and transferred to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, where 1 injured person died.
Apart from the driver and the cleaner, there were 11 tourists in the jeep who belong to Lahore.
Despite the darkness of the night, Pakistan Army and police personnel continued to try to pull out more people from the vehicle, but due to the strong flow of water and darkness, difficulties were faced in the rescue.
