Ahead of Eid in Karachi, the inter-city bus owners increased the fares.
Passengers have complained that fares up to Rs 2,000 are being charged from passengers traveling from Karachi to Hyderabad.
According to the passengers, fare up to 2300 is being charged from the passengers traveling from Karachi to Sanghar.
Passengers say that on normal days the fare to Hyderabad is Rs 500 while the fare to Sanghar is Rs 700.
Passengers further say that Eid is also to be celebrated among themselves, so they are forced to pay the fare.
On the other hand, bus owners say that vehicles are coming back empty, diesel is also expensive.
