Lahore: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Ahad Cheema filed an acquittal petition in the reference of assets in excess of income.
The court issued a notice to NAB and sought its reply on April 28.
Ahad Cheema filed an acquittal petition through his lawyers, in which it was stated that NAB has filed a reference of assets in excess of the income of Ahad Cheema and others, but no evidence could come out against the petitioner.
In the petition, it was requested that the court should order Ahad Cheema to be acquitted from the reference.
