Karachi: The bandits escaped after stealing Rs 20 lakh and other valuables from a citizen riding in a double cabin in Shah Latif’s Zafar Town area.
According to Express News, in Zafar Town area of Shah Latif Town police station, 2 motorcycle riders and 4 unknown armed suspects in a double cable car fled after robbing a citizen of 20 lakh rupees, valuable mobile phones and other goods.
The CCTV footage of the incident also came out, in which it can be seen that the incident took place at 12:45 PM, a rider in a double cabin entered a compound, then 4 robbers on 2 motorcycles chased the rider and entered the compound.
It can be seen in the CCTV footage that as soon as the citizen stopped his double-cabin vehicle, the armed suspects reached him and robbed the citizen of 20 lakh rupees, valuable mobile phones and other items at gunpoint and fled.
When the accused entered the compound, some laborers were busy repairing the dumper, on which one of the accused was standing with weapons. According to the police sources, he had taken money from the city bank.
