Lahore: The High Court directed the anti-corruption agency to provide details of all the cases against former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar by tomorrow.
A hearing was held on the request to get the details of cases against former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. Former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar appeared in the court on the order of the Lahore High Court.
The lawyer of the Punjab government said that Usman Buzdar had already filed a similar case, and on the request of Usman Buzdar, he had given the details of the cases, so now the time of the court should not be wasted.
The lawyer stated that anti-corruption DG Khan has cases registered against Usman Buzdar and apart from DG Khan circle, there is no case against Usman Buzdar in anti-corruption.
Lawyer Usman Buzdar Mian Ali Ashfaq said that apart from 10 inquiries, anti-corruption has started sending new notices, elections are going to be held and Osman Buzdar is being targeted for political revenge by anti-corruption. If there is any new case, let us know about anti-corruption and we will appear in the concerned court. Earlier, anti-corruption had submitted a report of 10 inquiries, now they are saying there are 12 inquiries.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh remarked that FIR is given to the accused even in the case of murder so that the accused can defend himself, why are you not giving a copy of the complaint to the accused in the case of corruption.
After hearing the arguments of the lawyers of both the parties, the court directed the anti-corruption agency to provide the details of all the cases against Usman Buzdar by tomorrow.
