Second T20: Pakistan beat New Zealand by 38 runs

Lahore: Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 38 runs in the second T20I.

In the second match of the T20 series played in Lahore, the New Zealand team scored 154 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Mark Chapman from New Zealand scored an unbeaten 64 runs. Chad Bouse scored 26, captain Tom Latham scored 19 and Cole McConchie scored 12 runs.

On behalf of Pakistan, Haris Rauf took 4 wickets while Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan and Zaman Khan took 1 wicket each.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and batted first and scored 192 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored his third career century in T20I. He scored 101 runs not out. Iftikhar Ahmed returned to the pavilion not out after scoring 33 runs.

Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed after scoring 50 runs.

For New Zealand, Matt Henry took 2 wickets while Ravi Richander and James Neesham took 1 and 1 wicket respectively.
