Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ICC) of the Cabinet has approved the Electric Bikes and E-Rickshaw Scheme, loans will be given for e-bikes and rickshaws under the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agricultural Loan Scheme.
The ECC also approved the decision to supply sugar at Rs 95 per kg in Punjab, while Anguar Ada has also been approved as an authorized land route station for overland trade to Central Asian countries via Afghanistan.
According to the details, the Economic Coordination Committee meeting of the Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in which electric bikes and e-rickshaw schemes have been approved. Loans will be given for e-bikes and rickshaws under Prime Minister Youth Business and Agricultural Loan Scheme.
In the first category, a loan of up to Rs. 5 lakh will be given. According to the Ministry of Finance, the loan will be given at zero interest rate for three years, while the Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved providing financing facility to the Ministry of Industry and Production for electric bikes and electric rickshaws.
In the meeting, the committee directed that the provincial PSMA of Punjab will provide 20 thousand metric tons of sugar and other provinces should also ensure the availability of sugar at a low price.
In the meeting, the government guarantee of PIA was increased by more than 15 billion rupees, approval was given to make Angoor Ada an export land for Afghanistan and Central Asia, a technical supplementary grant of 261 million rupees was approved for the Ministry of Housing. .
In the Economic Coordination Committee meeting, a grant of 14.25 million rupees was approved for the Ministry of National Health.
In the meeting, a technical supplementary grant of 26 million rupees was approved to the Ministry of Housing and Works for the current financial year. In the meeting, Angwar Ada was also declared an authorized land route station for trade by land to Central Asian countries through Afghanistan. In the approved meeting, the ECC was also briefed about the performance of NAPHDA. In the meeting, for the National Health Services Regulation and Coordination, SAARC Development Fund committed one million dollars as per the approved budget in Rs. Supplementary grant has also been approved.
