Islamabad: The United Arab Emirates is likely to receive a written guarantee for financing of one billion dollars this week.
According to the sources of the Ministry of Finance, the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance will inform the IMF officials in this regard during the sideline meetings held on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the IMF in Washington.
Sources say that the financing of one billion dollars from the United Arab Emirates has been finalized. As soon as the guarantee is received from the UAE authorities, the IMF will also receive a written guarantee. According to the sources, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Finance Minister had requested the friendly countries to fulfill the conditions of the IMF.
