Like the rest of the country, Hazrat Ali’s Martyrdom Day is being celebrated today in Karachi with devotion and respect.
Mourning meetings and mourning processions will be held across the country today, while the main procession of Karachi will be taken out from Nishtar Park.
Strict security arrangements have been made for the procession and the roads leading to its passage have been blocked with containers.
In connection with the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali Karamullah Rabiyya in Karachi, the Central Martyrdom Majlis of Hazrat Ali will be held at Nishtar Park at 10 am organized by Zameer Al Hasan Trust.
In which Maulana Amin Shaheedee will address the Majlis after Suz Khwani and salam, after which the procession of knowledge, coffin and Dhul-Janah will be brought out.
The procession will be led by Botarab Scouts, the participants will reach the Exhibition Chowrangi from Mahfil Shah Khorasan.
Zahreen prayers will be offered at Ali Raza MA Jinnah Road at Imam Bargah Mosque, after Zahreen prayers Imamiya Students Organization will hold a protest demonstration to show solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian Muslims.
After the demonstration, the procession will pass through its traditional routes and end at Hussainiya Iraniyan Imambargah, Kharadar.
