Today is the last day of the ongoing seventh house and census in Pakistan, but the process could not be completed in different cities of Sindh.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, about 1.35 million people have been counted in Karachi city while 1.9 million people have been counted in Hyderabad division.
The population of Sindh is said to be more than 4 crore 83 lakh so far, where the census process is not complete, there is a possibility of extending the time.
Director of Sindh Statistical Institute says that the time of census can be extended in Karachi and Hyderabad.
Officials of the statistics agency say that the data will be sent to the federal government by April 30, while briefings will also be given to all political parties to ensure transparency.
