Lahore: Anti-corruption arrested Muhammad Khan Bhatti, the principal secretary of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
According to Express News, Mohammad Khan Bhatti was released on bail by the court in the FIA case shortly after which he was re-arrested by the anti-corruption, before which the former principal secretary was in FIA custody.

It should be noted that Mohammad Khan Bhatti is accused of money laundering, posting transfer of officers and receiving kickbacks in various development projects and is also considered to be a close associate of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
Anti-corruption officials while talking to The Express Tribune confirmed the detention of Mohammad Khan Bhatti and said that he has been arrested in the second case of corruption in the Mandi Bahauddin project. Anti-corruption has also filed an FIR against the accused in this regard.
It should be noted that last month, Muhammad Khan Bhatti was arrested from Quetta area, while his family claims that he was detained from home and disappeared and then when the matter went to court, he was arrested from Quetta.
