Peshawar: At least 50 people were injured due to a loud explosion inside the mosque of Thana Police Line.
According to the police, the nature of the explosion is being ascertained while the security forces have surrounded the area. Evidence is being collected by the bomb disposal squad.
According to initial reports, the blast took place during the noon prayer in which 50 people were injured who are being shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.
After the explosion, the canteen building adjacent to the mosque collapsed.
The attacker entered the mosque along with the worshipers through the main gate of the police station and crossed three to four security lines. After the explosion, the main gate of the police station has been closed.
