In 2 different incidents in Punjab, 2 people were killed and 4 injured as a result of firing, while in another incident, a grandson killed his grandmother.
Borewala: Youth killed, 3 injured in firing
Unknown persons fired at 4 persons sitting in the sitting room of a house in Borewala, as a result of which 1 youth was killed and 3 were injured.
According to the police, the incident took place in Azimabad area of Borewala, where the four youths were sitting in the house of a youth named Shehbaz, when suddenly unknown suspects opened fire on them from the window and fled.
The four youths were injured in the firing and were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, where Umar succumbed to his injuries.
According to the police, the incident is being further investigated and the accused will be arrested soon.
Mandi Bahauddin: Husband killed, wife injured in firing
Meanwhile, in Mandi Bahauddin, unknown persons entered the house and opened fire and killed the head of the house. The victim’s wife was seriously injured.
According to the police, the incident took place in Malkwal area of Mandi Bahauddin where 50-year-old Zafar Iqbal was at home with his family when 3 unknown armed men entered his house and opened fire.
Zafar Iqbal died on the spot while his wife was seriously injured in the firing.
The woman has been shifted to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital Gujarat for medical assistance.
The deceased Zafar Iqbal had returned home from Muscat on March 12 to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with his family.
According to the police, on the request of the deceased’s father, Sher Muhammad, a case has been registered against 3 unknown accused and the investigation has been started.
Bahawalpur: Grandmother killed by grandson
On the other hand, the grandson killed the grandmother in Model Town C of Bahawalpur.
According to Bahawalpur police, a 65-year-old woman was killed by the accused with a knife.
