Accountability against General Bajwa should be from within the army, Chairman PTI
Lahore: Chairman PTI Imran Khan gave the signal to come to the streets.
Imran met the journalists at Lahore Zaman Park. While speaking, he said that if elections are not held within 90 days, there will be no constitution left in the country while we are on the streets.
He said that General Retired Qamar Javed Bajwa wanted friendship with India, that’s why things got worse, accountability against General Bajwa should be from within the army.
Imran Khan said that President Arif Alvi is not playing any role between us and the establishment.
He said that Shah Mehmood and Parvez Elahi have been given the task of reestablishing contact with other parties, there is no restriction on any member of the party to meet other parties and political figures.
In response to a question, Imran Khan said that the Supreme Court first restored the assembly through Somoto, then Soomoto was right, now that the Supreme Court has taken a Soomoto for the election, then these people have fallen behind the Supreme Court. Dissolved Punjab and KP Assemblies can be restored under the law.
Imran Khan said that Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi and IG Punjab are criminals, my house was attacked in my absence. I am going to file a case against them in the court.
