Indore: 35 people were killed when the floor of a well in a temple collapsed in India.
According to Indian media, a large number of people were present on the occasion of the religious festival in the temple located in the city of Indore in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Due to the immense rush, the floor built over the well of the temple could not bear the weight and broke.
Due to the collapse of the floor, hundreds of people fell into a well several feet deep, many of whom were injured. Rescue operations are underway to evacuate the people trapped in the well. So far 14 people have been pulled out of the well.
