The caretaker government of Punjab increased the wages of the lowest paid people in the province.
The Punjab government has increased the minimum wage by 7 thousand rupees across the province.
A notification has also been issued to increase the minimum wage by Rs 7,000 across Punjab.
According to the notification, the minimum wage in Punjab has been increased from 25 thousand to 32 thousand rupees.
It should be noted that Punjab is the province which has increased the minimum salary before other provinces.
