Peshawar: The student organization has announced a province-wide protest against the closure of Peshawar University due to teachers’ protest.
According to Jamiat-e-Talaba Islami, protests will be held in all universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against the closure of classes in Peshawar University. The valuable time of the students is being wasted by the teachers in the University of Peshawar. The university has been closed for a month, on which both the government and the administration are silent. The organization has announced to take out protest rallies across the province from tomorrow to start classes in the university.
Meanwhile, students of Peshawar University say that they have been missing classes for the past three weeks, which is affecting their education. If there is a shortage of classes, our exams will also be severely affected.
It should be noted that after the killing of the security supervisor in Peshawar University, the teachers’ organization had started a protest. The teachers organization says that they will continue the strike until the resignation of the vice chancellor.
