Karachi: Acting on intelligence, the Rangers and the police conducted joint operations in Orangi Town and Liaquatabad on robberies and drug peddling. Five accused were arrested.

According to Express News, the Rangers and the police, acting jointly on the basis of intelligence information, arrested 3 suspects involved in robbery, theft, street crime and drug selling from Orangi Town.

According to the spokesperson of Sindh Rangers, the accused Hikmatullah alias Badam, Zahir Shah and Abdul Rasheed alias Akbar used to rob business people in Orangi Town and Site Town while they were going to withdraw or deposit money from the bank. The arrested accused were from the parking area. Motorcycles have also been involved in theft incidents.

According to the spokesman, the accused used to sell the stolen motorcycles to Chico Bagh in Hub Sakran area of ​​Balochistan and with the money they used to buy hashish and ice from the wholesalers and they used to sell them in different areas of Karachi such as Faqir Colony, Orangi. Used to sell in the town and surroundings.

In the statement of the spokesman, it is said that during the initial investigation, the accused have admitted to robbing more than 150 mobile phones and more than 5 lakh rupees in more than 100 cases of robbery and street crime. Raids are being conducted to arrest, the arrested accused have been handed over to the police for further legal action.

Two members of dacoit gang arrested from Liaquatabad

Similarly, Pakistan Rangers Sindh and police arrested two suspects involved in theft, robbery and drug dealing from Liaquatabad on secret information, Kashan and Rasheed alias Naveed Bhangi.

According to the spokesman, the suspects belong to the gang of dacoits who have been operating in different areas of the city since 2013, Hussainabad, Karimabad, Gharibabad, Lalu Khet, Dak Khana, Tin Hatti, New Golimar, Rizvia Society, Nazimabad, Board Office, New Karachi and They are involved in more than 250 cases of theft, robbery and stealing mobile phones in other areas including Sarjani.

According to the spokesman, during the investigation, the suspects have admitted that they are also involved in providing illegal weapons on rent to the criminals, the suspects are habitual criminals and have been arrested and jailed several times. The raids are being carried out, the arrested accused have been handed over to the police for further legal action along with arms and ammunition.
