Weapons recovered in Zaman Park operation turned out to be illegal

Lahore: All the weapons recovered during the Zaman Park anti-encroachment operation were unlicensed and illegal.

According to police sources, forensics will be conducted to find out where the recovered weapon was used, while it is suspected that the same weapon was used during the bilateral firing in the Wazirabad march attack.

The facts regarding the weapon with which the bullets were fired at the activist will be more clear, while the final facts will be clear in the forensic report.

It should be noted that 13 SMGs, 7 Kalashnikovs and 340 bullets were recovered during the operation.
