After a police encounter near Site Super Highway in Karachi, two suspects were arrested with injuries.
SSPAVCC says that action was taken on the report of the presence of street criminals, 4 accused on two motorcycles opened fire on seeing the police.
SSP Abdul Rahim says that two accused Ahmed Faraz and Nadeem were injured in the retaliatory firing by the police, who have been arrested.
The SSP said that two accused escaped from the spot who have been identified, the arrested accused Nadeem also has a previous criminal record.
The police say that the arrested suspects are involved in murder, attempted murder, terrorism and police encounters. A motorcycle stolen from Gulberg and two pistols have also been recovered from the accused.
The SSP said that the accused have confessed to snatching several motorcycles from Lyari, Mangho Peer and Sarjani.
