Order to freeze property and bank accounts of Parvez Elahi's son, daughter-in-law worth 13 billion

Lahore: The court ordered the freezing of 10 billion worth of land and 22 bank accounts of Pervez Elahi’s son Rasakh Elahi and his daughter-in-law and frontman in the money laundering case.

According to Express News, progress has been made in the investigation of the money laundering case against Chaudhry Pervaizalhi’s son Rasakh Elahi and his family.

The court also ordered the freezing of the properties and bank accounts of Rasakh Elahi and his wife, the accounts of Monis Elahi’s wife, Chaudhary Brothers frontman Qaiser Bhatti and Abid Bhatti.

The court has also issued an order to freeze 17,420 kanals of land worth 10 billion rupees of all the co-accused, while orders have been issued to freeze 22 bank accounts of the co-accused in which about 3 and a half billion rupees were sent.

According to sources, corruption money was sent through benamami bank accounts and companies. In the corruption of the previous government, the Chaudhary family made properties worth billions, all properties and bank accounts have been frozen under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2010.

The court froze all the properties and bank accounts based on the FIA’s application and solid evidence. All these properties and bank accounts will remain frozen till the completion of money laundering investigation against all these accused.
