An application has been filed by IG Punjab in the Lahore High Court for access to the house of Chairman PTI Imran Khan.
The IG has taken a position in the request that access to the site and Imran Khan’s house should be allowed without any hindrance, the presence of members of the banned organization at the site is suspected.
In the application on behalf of the IG, it was said that the DIG of Islamabad and several police personnel were injured, many residents of Zaman Park are coming to register a case on the incidents of March 14 and 15, the police have registered four cases.
The IG says that the court asked the police to come back, so they have not been able to investigate, access to the crime scene is necessary to investigate and collect evidence.
The petition stated that the investigation process cannot be completed without access, the court should allow to go to the crime scene and collect evidence.
