Ishaq Dar Rejects Demand to Abandon Nuclear Missiles

Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has criticized the “unconventional” behavior of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in rejecting calls to abandon long-range nuclear missiles and telling anyone not to. There is no right about the range of missiles Pakistan can have.

“Pakistan’s nuclear and missile program is a national asset, which the state guards with pride,” the Prime Minister’s Office said. It added that the entire program is completely secure, foolproof, and not under any form or pressure.
