Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man and owner of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), pays his chef twice as much as a member of the Legislative Assembly.
Despite studying at Stanford University in the 70s, Mukesh Ambani is still a vegetarian and avoids eating any kind of meat apart from eggs in his diet. He doesn’t even drink alcohol. Likes food like pulses, rice and roti etc.
They don’t mind eating from ordinary food stalls or fancy restaurants anywhere. These eating habits of his are an example of his qualities, which his followers seem to be quite impressed with.
Apart from Indian food, Mukesh Ambani also likes Thai food, but mostly South Indian food like Idli, Dosa etc is specially prepared in his house.
According to wife Nita Ambani, despite his busy schedule, Mukesh Ambani still eats dinner with his family.
As Mukesh Ambani is known for providing financial security to his staff, among other virtues, he pays his chef a monthly salary of over INR 2 lakh, which is twice the monthly salary of a member of the Legislative Assembly.
It should be noted that after the 66% increase, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Delhi get a monthly salary of INR 90,000.
