Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan Farooq Sattar has said that the decision to boycott the local body elections was proved correct, the constituencies were not correct.
While holding a press conference in Karachi, he said that when the constituencies were not correct, then how could the elections be transparent.
Farooq Sattar said that if the elections were not transparent and rigging was caught, how could we go to the elections, the Sindh government had to withdraw the notification of 53 USCs.
He said that the increase of USCs has been done according to the old census, if there had been an increase of 53 USCs before the election, Jamaat-e-Islami would not have cried for the mayor.
The leader of Muttahida Pakistan said that MQM would also have participated in the election if there had been an increase in UCs, now Jamaat-e-Islami is crying for 11 seats.
Farooq Sattar said that now they should stand with us and protest, now elections should also be held on these newly built USIs.
