Geo News team was attacked by Hijab mafia in Golestan Johar area of Karachi.
The Geo News team had arrived to cover the anti-encroachment action where cameraman Zeeshan Iqbal and reporter Kashif Mushtaq were tortured.
Miscreants snatched the mobile phone of Geo News reporter and broke it.
In the area, the mobile phone of Zeeshan Iqbal, the cameraman of Geo News, was also taken away by the mafia.
It should be noted that the team that was taking action against encroachment in Golestan Johar was attacked by the occupiers.
The area became a battlefield with stone pelting, lathi charge, aerial firing and shelling.
13 people including journalists and KDA officers were also injured in the attack by the occupiers.
