New York: Famous Indian actress Priyanka Chopra has revealed that for the first time in her 22-year film career, she is getting paid as much as a male actor in her project.
The actress has repeatedly expressed her views on the low remuneration of female artists in the film industry.
In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra said that I have been in the industry for twenty two years and I have done more than seventy feature films and two T-shows.
He said that for the first time in my life in the ‘Citadel’ web series I am getting paid as much as my fellow male artists.
He said that in the new project, I have spent the same amount of time as in the previous ones, but I was paid less.
Priyanka Chopra said that when she raised the issue of equal pay in a film in 2021, she was advised to quit the film.
