Lahore High Court Justice Muzamil Akhtar Shabbir excused himself from hearing the petition.
The judge recommended that the case be referred to another bench, after which the file was sent to the Chief Justice Lahore High Court.
The petition in the Supreme Court was filed by the organizers of Awart March.
It should be noted that the district administration of Lahore refused to allow the Aurat March administration to march on Nasir Bagh, Iwan-e-Iqbal, Al Hamra and Mall Road on March 8 due to protests by various organizations.
Yesterday, caretaker information minister of Punjab Aamir Mir has said that the government will not put any obstacle in the organization of Aurat March, the participants of Aurat March will be provided full police security.
In a statement, Aamir Mir said that the reservations of the organizers of Aurat March have been removed, the caretaker government believes in personal freedoms.
He also said that the safety of the women participating in the Aurat March will be ensured, hoping that the Aurat March will be held in a peaceful manner.
