Islamabad Police reached Zaman Park Lahore to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Tosha Khana case.
Police have surrounded Imran Khan’s residence.
Along with Islamabad Police, Lahore Police officials are also present.
On this occasion, Islamabad Police said that we have come to Zaman Park on the order of the court, Imran Khan did not appear in the court in the Tosha Khana case.
Islamabad police are being prevented from entering Imran Khan’s residence.
Officials of Islamabad Police say that they have come under the leadership of SP, police force is also present with us, we also have the support of Lahore Police.
PTI leaders Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry and Senator Ijaz Chaudhry have also reached Zaman Park.
Some Tehreek-e-Insaf workers have also reached Zaman Park with sticks.
Ejaz Chaudhry said on this occasion that our lawyers are coming, they will talk to the police, we are waiting for our lawyers.
According to the sources, Islamabad Police has reached Lahore with the arrest warrant of Imran Khan.
Regarding the current situation, a cell has been prepared for Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.
According to sources, Imran Khan will be kept in the same cell in Adiala jail where PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was kept.
On the other hand, the caretaker provincial information minister Aamir Mir has said that the Islamabad police has come to arrest Imran Khan on a court order.
Talking to Geo News, he said that the Punjab government will support the Islamabad Police as per the constitution and law.
The reason behind Imran Khan’s arrest
Imran Khan’s arrest warrant has been issued by Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal.
According to the sources, Imran Khan will be arrested on the court order in the Tosha Khana reference case.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry warned the government about the possible arrest of Imran Khan.
In a statement issued on the social networking site Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry has said that any attempt to arrest Imran Khan will seriously worsen the situation.
