Islamabad: The Senate Committee has expressed its indignation over the non-submission of a report on the murder of a student in the Islamic University.
The meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Education was chaired by Chairman Committee Irfan Siddiqui. The committee expressed its indignation at the Islamic University for not submitting a report on the killing of the scholar.

The Chairman Committee inquired as to why the report was not being submitted. The requirement of the committee should be fulfilled otherwise they will write a letter to the President.
Officials of the Islamic University told the committee that the committee was formed, but the proceedings could not proceed due to lack of quorum in the meeting.
Member of the Senate Committee Mushtaq Ahmed said that these people do not take the committee and the Parliament seriously.
The chairman gave two weeks’ time to submit a report on the matter and said that if there is any delay, the committee will write a formal letter to the President.
