Amjad Shoaib is in police custody on 3-day physical remand.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq yesterday directed the lawyer to remove the objection while maintaining the objections to the dismissal of the case against Lieutenant General retired Amjad Shoaib.
During the hearing yesterday, lawyers Ahmed Hasan Shah, Qaiser Imam and Qasim Wadud appeared in the court on behalf of General Retired Amjad Shoaib.
On Amjad Shoaib’s request, the court adjourned the hearing for one day while directing the lawyers to remove the objection.
It should be noted that General Retired Amjad Shoaib was arrested for allegedly making a provocative statement on TV.
